Job Description: Oracle Fusion Applications Finance SME L2/L3 Support (Managed Services)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Fusion Applications Finance SME to join our Managed Services team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle Fusion Financials and a proven ability to provide high-quality Level 2 (L2) and Level 3 (L3) support. This role requires deep functional and technical expertise to troubleshoot, resolve, and enhance financial processes in Oracle Fusion while ensuring client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. L2/L3 Support:
    • Address and resolve complex user issues and queries related to Oracle Fusion Financials, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
    • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs, integration failures, and performance issues.
    • Serve as the escalation point for L1 support teams, ensuring resolution of high-priority incidents within defined SLAs.
  2. Functional Expertise:
    • Provide guidance and support for finance modules, ensuring alignment with business processes and compliance requirements.
    • Analyze and resolve issues in financial workflows, reporting, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
    • Work closely with business users to understand requirements and recommend system enhancements or configurations.
  3. Technical Expertise:
    • Develop and execute SQL queries to extract and analyze data for issue resolution.
    • Collaborate with technical teams on configurations, customizations, and integrations with third-party systems.
    • Support upgrades, patch applications, and regression testing for Oracle Fusion releases.
  4. Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to optimize financial processes and enhance system functionality.
    • Propose and implement best practices for financial operations within Oracle Fusion.
  5. Documentation and Training:
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including issue resolution steps, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
    • Train end-users and junior support staff to improve system utilization and reduce recurring issues.
  6. Customer Engagement:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for finance-related system issues, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
    • Participate in regular status calls with clients, providing updates on incidents and enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials.
    • Strong background in Managed Services or support environments, with a focus on L2 and L3 support.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion modules: General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Tax.
    • Proficient in SQL, OTBI, BI Publisher, and other Oracle reporting tools.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interface effectively with clients and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle Fusion Financials certification.
  • Experience in working with global clients across various time zones.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and tools for incident, change, and problem management.
  • Knowledge of integrations with ERP systems or third-party tools.
