Job Description:

• Platform management Install configure upgrade and maintain Tableau ServerCloud environments
• User and security management Manage user accounts groups roles and permissions to ensure data security and compliance with policies Implement and support Single SignOn SSO and Active Directory AD integration
• Performance and optimization Monitor server health performance and resource utilization Troubleshoot issues optimize performance bottlenecks and implement solutions for high availability and disaster recovery
• Content and extract administration Manage scheduled data extracts data connections and workflows Support users in publishing dashboards and workbooks
• Support and training Provide technical support training and guidance to users on using Tableau effectively
• Compliance and governance Work with IT and data teams to implement data governance and compliance practices
• Documentation and best practices Develop and document standards and best practices for the platform

Required skills and experience

• Technical expertise Proficiency with Tableau ServerCloud including installation configuration and maintenance
• Scripting and automation Experience with scripting tools like PowerShell to automate administrative tasks
• Performance tuning Ability to monitor and optimize server performance and troubleshoot issues
• Security awareness Strong understanding of data security principles and best practices

MicroStrategy Admin Developer

Responsibilities

Administration

• Install configure and deploy the MicroStrategy platform and its client tools
• Perform security administration including managing user accounts roles and permissions
• Administer and maintain MicroStrategy servers from both the operating system and MicroStrategy tool perspectives
• Perform capacity planning monitoring and performance tuning of the MicroStrategy infrastructure
• Manage the migration of reports dashboards and other objects between development testing and production environments
• Set up monitoring and s for key performance indicators
• Troubleshoot reporting issues related to MicroStrategy configurations reports and dashboards

Development

• Design develop and maintain MicroStrategy reports dashboards and documents using tools like MicroStrategy Web Desktop and Mobile
• Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and create visually effective userfriendly solutions
• Develop and optimize semantic models for selfservice and enterprise reporting
• Write and tune SQL queries to support report development
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency through thorough testing and validation
• Provide deployment and postproduction support

Required skills and experience

• Strong experience with the MicroStrategy platform including tools like Developer Administrator Command Manager Object Manager and Architect
• Proficiency in SQL for troubleshooting and report development
• Handson experience with server administration including installation configuration and maintenance
• Familiarity with operating systems such as LinuxUNIX is often required
• Experience with application and web servers like Tomcat or Apache is beneficial
• Knowledge of MicroStrategy SDK is a plus
• Good communication and problem solving skills
