Job Description
Endpoint Modernization Lead
St. Paul, MN
Lead and execute the strategic transition from Microsoft SCCM/MECM to Microsoft Intune, enabling modern endpoint management across the enterprise.
Assessment & Planning
- Evaluate current SCCM/MECM infrastructure, including collections, applications, baselines, and GPO dependencies.
- Design a phased migration roadmap with Autopilot readiness and device enrollment strategy.
Migration Execution
- Package and migrate applications, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and security baselines to Intune.
- Implement Conditional Access and MFA policies in collaboration with the Security team.
- Develop and execute pilot and production migration waves with rollback and cutover criteria.
Documentation & Enablement
- Create detailed runbooks, SOPs, and admin documentation.
- Train EUC team members and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in modern endpoint management.
- Proven track record of leading at least 2 large-scale SCCM to Intune migrations.
- Deep expertise in:
- Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Windows 10/11 hardening
- Compliance policies, Co-Management, Conditional Access
- PowerShell scripting for automation and packaging
- GPO-to-Intune mapping and migration
