Title: SAP Business Analytics Consultant
Location: Remote EST
Duration: 6 Months contract with potential to convert to FTE
Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as a project team member or lead on complex, major, or highly visible tasks and projects, potentially spanning multiple technologies.
- Leverage expertise in business processes and data domains to translate analytics needs into data visualization and semantic data access requirements.
- Participate in project planning and identify tasks, leading or assisting with timeline estimations.
- Collaborate with team members and business stakeholders to develop business analytics requirements.
- Work with data engineers to design complex data sourcing, transformation, and aggregation logic to meet business analytics requirements.
- Utilize enterprise-standard tools and platforms to visualize analytics insights, often leading a small team.
- Ensure functional and non-functional visualization requirements are met.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to business stakeholders on using data visualizations effectively.
- Drive adoption of insights-driven decision-making and analytics-enabled business process innovation.
- Develop and enforce data visualization standards.
- Provide technical direction and oversee testing of business analytics solutions.
- Lead the definition and development of test plans and system documentation.
- Conduct testing to ensure solutions meet user specifications.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members.
- Develop reports and presentations for senior management as needed.
- Evaluate new visualization tools and research best practices.
- Participate in Proof of Concept (POC) projects and provide business analytics solution recommendations.
- Conceptualize, design, and develop data visualization solutions that clearly communicate data concepts to key business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analytics experts, and subject matter experts to identify strategically relevant insights.
- Demonstrate strong visual design skills and a passion for creative visualization work.
- Assist in developing best practices for data presentation and sharing across the organization.
- Tailor data visualizations to the audience s needs, reducing data to the minimum required to communicate effectively.
- Show a drive to learn new tools and innovative ways to visualize data and insights.
- Work closely with business users, vendors, and delivery teams to understand requirements driving business analytics and reporting solutions.
- Exhibit strong team-building, creative thinking, and a commitment to making a difference.
Experience and Educational Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Programming/Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience developing business analytics solutions, with a focus on requirements gathering and effective visualization of insights.
- 5-10 years of experience with data visualization/BI tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau), SQL, and semantic data access mechanisms.
- Proven experience in driving analytics-enabled business process innovation.
- Broad understanding of business information systems.
- Experience leading small project teams and streams.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes across multiple business areas, identify requirements, and develop alternative solutions.
- Strong skills in designing, developing, and testing business analytics solutions.
