Job Title: Azure Developer Lead .NET Core Web API Development

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract


Job Summary:

SRS is seeking a highly skilled Azure Developer Lead to join a project with our client, T-Mobile, in Seattle, WA. This role demands strong technical leadership, hands-on development expertise, and a deep understanding of modern cloud-native architectures using .NET Core, Azure IoT, Azure Serverless Functions, and Event-Driven systems.

You ll be leading the development and implementation of scalable backend services and APIs, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with Azure services and IoT platforms. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days onsite per week in Seattle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust backend services using .NET Core Web API.

  • Architect and build cloud-native applications leveraging Azure Functions, Azure IoT, Azure Service Bus, and Event Hub.

  • Design scalable microservices with NoSQL databases, particularly Azure Cosmos DB (mandatory).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, DevOps, and QA, to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Mentor and lead a team of developers, conducting code reviews, providing technical guidance, and ensuring adherence to best practices.

  • Ensure integration with existing systems and applications, optimizing for performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Work closely with Customer stakeholders to align technical solutions with business requirements.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development with C#/.NET (Frameworks 4.8, 6.0, 8.0).

  • 5+ years of experience building .NET Core Web API and backend microservices.

  • Expertise in:

    • ASP.NET, MVC Architecture

    • Azure Functions, Azure IoT

    • Azure Service Bus, Event Hub

    • Azure Cosmos DB (mandatory)

    • SQL Server and NoSQL databases

  • Experience in microservices and event-driven architecture.

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git, and Azure DevOps pipelines.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and collaborate across business and tech teams.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on IoT platforms or telemetry data processing.

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Familiarity with real-time data streaming and edge computing in Azure.

  • Prior experience in a telecom environment is a plus.

Location: Seattle, WA
Hybrid Work: 3 days onsite per week (Required)
