Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Java Developer with hands-on experience in Generative AI to join our innovative team. This role blends traditional Java backend development with cutting-edge AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and intelligent automation. You'll be part of a cross-functional team building scalable, intelligent applications and services that leverage AI for real-world business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications and microservices.
• Integrate Generative AI APIs and SDKs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI) into Java applications.
• Build AI-powered features such as chatbots, content generators, summarizers, and intelligent assistants.
• Work closely with data scientists to operationalize LLMs and machine learning models in production.
• Design RESTful APIs to expose GenAI-powered services to frontend or third-party systems.
• Apply prompt engineering best practices to fine-tune and control LLM outputs.
• Implement security, logging, and performance optimization for GenAI features.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver new features in rapid development cycles.
• Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Java (8 or higher), Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Solid experience in integrating Generative AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, LLaMA, Hugging Face).
• Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP, and API security.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, especially AI/ML services.
• Familiarity with NLP concepts, language modeling, and fine-tuning.
• Proficient in using CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other GenAI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience in Python for working alongside data scientists (optional but beneficial).
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (JavaScript, React, etc.) for full-stack AI integration.
• Exposure to MLOps and deploying ML models at scale.
• Knowledge of data privacy, ethics, and security in AI applications.
• Understanding of conversational AI, semantic search, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
