Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid- # of days contractor will be required to work onsite: 2-3 Days a week)

Duration: 2-3 Months, potential for extension

Typical Day in the Role

Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is:

• We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst to join our team and help drive data-driven decision-making by creating Power BI reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, business intelligence tools, and automation platforms.

Key projects: This role will contribute to:

• Creating at least 7 PowerBI reports from scratch and then documenting the back-end of how those came to be and training the team on how to utilize and use the reports.
• Automating emails based on a report of what the emails are doing (PowerAutomate for things like budget, etc.)
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of:
• Design and develop 7 Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize key metrics and KPIs.
• Work with the team in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies
• Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
• Test programs or reports, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
• Design reports that identify trends, patterns, and correlations to help drive business decision-making.
• Implement automation processes using Power Automate to streamline report generation and distribution.
• Document report structures, data sources, and automation workflows and training materials and sessions for the client's team.

Candidate Requirements
Years of Experience Required: 5-7 years applicable experience required in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
Top 4 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. 5-7 years applicable experience required in PowerBI and PowerAutomate
2. 2-3 Years of experience in the data analysis and data visualization. Easy to use/easy to manipulate reports (designed well)
3. Knowledge of the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process
4. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
