Role: SAP S/4HANA Implementation Delivery Manager

Location: Rosemead, CA Hybrid Local to Southern California (Preference for candidates in PST time zone, with increasing onsite presence anticipated in Pomona and potentially)

Contract Duration: 24+ Months

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented SAP Technology Delivery Manager to lead the implementation of SAP S/4HANA and related solutions within our Supply Chain and Procurement workstreams. This critical role demands a strong leader with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, particularly within the Supply Chain domain (Warehouse Management, Material Management). You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, adherence to timelines and budget, and the successful adoption of new capabilities. This role requires a strong communicator with the ability to effectively interface with "Type A" personalities and drive program success within a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle delivery of SAP S/4HANA and potentially Ariba/MDG solutions for Supply Chain and Procurement, encompassing Enterprise Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Strategic Sourcing, and Supplier Management.
  • Orchestrate project execution across multiple agile teams, ensuring clear communication, effective collaboration, and the delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Apply SAP Activate or Agile methodologies to guide cross-functional teams through all project phases: design, build, test, deployment, and go-live.
  • Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, implementation partners, product owners, and internal technology teams to establish clear goals, define project scope, and manage priorities.
  • Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans, manage vendor contracts and performance, track project budgets, and proactively identify and mitigate program-level risks and issues.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for delivery challenges, driving timely resolution to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Co-facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release management, across concurrent workstreams.
  • Prepare and present clear and concise executive-level status reports and presentations for steering committees and governance forums.
  • Partner with Change Management and Training teams to support organizational change efforts, ensuring user adoption and readiness for new SAP solutions.
  • Oversee post-implementation hypercare and transition-to-operations activities to ensure the stability and smooth handover of deployed solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading and delivering large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
  • Strong and demonstrable experience in program managing the implementation of SAP Supply Chain applications, specifically S/4HANA Warehouse Management and Material Management.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes and their integration with Procurement (Source-to-Pay/Procure-to-Pay).
  • Proven ability to manage complex program plans, vendor deliverables, budgets, and project governance across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical1 audiences and confidently interact with senior leadership and "Type A" personalities.
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience within the utility, energy, or asset-intensive industries.
  • Participation in greenfield or brownfield SAP S/4HANA implementations.
  • Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM, system monitoring tools, and Agile project tracking platforms (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Working knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other enterprise analytics tools.
  • Experience with field mobility solutions, contract lifecycle management tools, or work management integration with SAP.
  • PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business value through technology transformation initiatives.
