Overview

As a SEO specialist your primary responsibility is to optimize e-commerce platform to increase organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance overall online visibility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SEO best practices and ensure the website's content, structure, and technical aspects align with search engine requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • SEO Strategy Development:

Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy for the SFCC e-commerce platform. Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market research to identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align SEO efforts with overall business objectives.

  • On-Page Optimization:

Optimize website content, including product descriptions, meta tags, headings, and internal linking structure for improved search rankings. Ensure the website follows SEO best practices, adheres to technical SEO guidelines, and meets search engine algorithms' requirements.

  • Technical SEO:

Perform regular website audits to identify and resolve technical issues affecting SEO performance. Optimize website speed, mobile responsiveness, and crawlability to enhance user experience and search engine visibility.

  • Content Marketing:

Collaborate with content creators to produce SEO-friendly and engaging content, aligning it with targeted keywords and customer intent. Develop a content distribution strategy to maximize content exposure and attract backlinks from reputable websites.

  • Link Building:

Identify link-building opportunities and execute link-building campaigns to increase domain authority and search engine rankings. Monitor and deny toxic backlinks to maintain a healthy link profile.

  • Analytics and Reporting:

Monitor and analyze website performance metrics using SEO tools and Google Analytics. Generate regular reports on SEO performance, traffic trends, and keyword rankings, providing actionable insights for improvement.

  • Stay Updated with SEO Trends:

Stay abreast of industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices to adapt strategies accordingly. Implement the latest SEO techniques and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the competition.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, preferably in an e-commerce or SFCC environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present SEO insights and reports.
  • Understanding of SFCC platform or similar e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and digital marketing.
  • Bachelor s degree in marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
