Job Description:

We seek a detail-oriented, highly skilled, and motivated Data Analyst/Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements, analyze complex datasets, and deliver actionable insights using tools like Power BI, R, Python. You will apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to develop predictive models and data-driven solutions, contributing to strategic business outcomes Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps is essential for managing work items, collaborating with development teams, and improving operations through data models and algorithms.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs, gather requirements, and define project goals, translating them into clear business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets using advanced data mining and statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights, selecting appropriate analytical techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js) and ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, influencing, collaboration and listening skills.
  • Partner with development teams using Azure DevOps to manage user stories, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of data-driven solutions.
  • Process, cleanse, and validate data to ensure accuracy and integrity of data solutions, reports and dashboards.
  • Present ad-hoc and regular analysis results clearly to stakeholders, communicating findings and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Enhance data collection procedures and extend datasets with third-party sources as needed to build robust analytic systems and predictive models.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, reporting, and analytics.
  • Use data modeling and evaluation strategies to find patterns and predict future trends, enabling proactive business decisions.
  • Support data science initiatives by developing necessary tools using SQL, Python, Excel, and other reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to assist in implementing new data lakes supporting analytics and data science needs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role, solving complex analytical problems with large datasets in a data-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or D3.js, including report creation, data modeling, and DAX.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proven experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience using Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and present findings.
  • Strong collaboration, influencing, and listening skills; ability to work effectively as part of a small team and contribute to strategic goals
  • Experience with Salesforce data and reporting is a plus.
  • Experience in business services or the manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, and advanced SQL.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or Keras, and knowledge of machine learning evaluation metrics and best practices is a plus.
  • Understanding of statistical methods and probability theory.
  • Skills in data wrangling, cleaning, and organizing data.
  • Familiarity with NLP and deep learning techniques is a plus.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment supporting applied research and data science projects.
  • Business acumen with the ability to translate business problems into data science solutions.

Projects:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver analytics solutions leveraging SQL, Python, Excel, and various reporting, analytics tools.
  • Partner with the Data Engineering team to implement new data lakes solutions supporting business analytics and data science needs.
  • Support data science initiatives by developing tools and solutions to meet project requirements.

Professional Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of a bachelor s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related scientific field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role, working with large datasets and complex analytical problems in a data-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills with an emphasis on product development.
  • Experience querying databases and using statistical programming languages to manipulate data and derive insights.
  • Knowledge of machine learning engineering and end-to-end delivery processes.
