Role Overview

Senior Financial Engineer should be able to use quantitative analysis to solve analytic problems and price financial instruments, particularly in the fixed income markets, using financial and math software and tools.

Hours: 6:40 AM - 4:00 PM EST or 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM EST

Workplace: Hybrid (4 days on site, 1 day remote)

Role Responsibilities
  • Research & implementation of new pricing models
  • Developing software, in accordance with Global Analytics standards and approach
  • Enhancing and supporting existing and newly developed financial models
  • Delivering quality and profound analytical services to brokers across a range of asset classes
  • Effective communication across all levels of the organization
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
  • Providing Third line support to clients of the TP ICAP market data group, Parameta
  • Being able to work efficiently and independently in a time sensitive environment.
Experience / Competences

Essential
  • Minimum 7 years related working experience
  • Financial software development experience
  • Experience working with financial spreadsheet-based systems
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of the Financial market data communication structure and technology
  • Ability to work with diverse groups/personalities
  • Handles stress constructively
