What You ll Do
- Design and simulate electronic circuits for high-performance aesthetic laser systems
- Select components with consideration for lifecycle, availability, and cost optimization
- Perform PCB layout using Altium Designer and manage board development
- Develop embedded firmware for ARM-based microcontroller platforms
- Design system-level wiring, harnesses, and cables for high-voltage/high-current applications (up to 1000V / 400A / 4kW)
- Conduct hardware and software testing to meet regulatory and performance standards
- Participate in hands-on prototyping and SMD rework within the in-house lab
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including optical, mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers to bring next-generation products from concept to production
Core Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience
- Strong background in embedded systems development (ARM)
- Experience with switching power supplies (up to 4kW)
- Proficient in high-voltage/high-current circuit design
- Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and circuit simulation tools such as SPICE
- Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE or higher)
Highly Valued Qualifications
- Experience designing FDA-regulated medical devices (aesthetic, surgical, or life science sectors)
- Proficiency with power device selection (e.g., IGBTs, MOSFETs) and motor control systems
- Sensor integration experience (e.g., pyroelectric, optical, current/voltage feedback sensors)
- Familiarity with digital communication protocols such as I C, SPI, etc.
- Prior experience in mentorship, team leadership, or project ownership
