Position Summary:
The Director, Information Technology is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all technology initiatives across the organization. This role provides direction across three core groups: IT Systems and Infrastructure, IT Compliance, and Business Systems Management. The Senior Director ensures that all IT systems, infrastructure, applications, and processes are secure, compliant, reliable, and strategically aligned with the organization's business objective. This key leadership role requires a balance of technical expertise, strategic business insight, and strong communication skills.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develops and executes a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with and supports the organization's overall business goals.
- Oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide systems, networks, and hardware to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Leads efforts to maintain regulatory compliance, enforce cybersecurity protocols, and manage risk across all IT operations.
- Defines the future technological direction of the organization, including evaluating and integrating new and emerging technologies.
- Partners with senior management and department heads to align IT initiatives with business needs and priorities.
- Guides the development, integration, and optimization of business applications and platforms that support core functions and enhance productivity.
- Establishes and enforces robust information security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect the organization's data assets, systems, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Directs the development, maintenance, and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Identifies opportunities to leverage technology to streamline business processes, improve efficiency, and enhance service delivery.
- Evaluates and manages relationships and contracts with technology vendors and service providers to optimize performance and cost.
- Manages cross-functional teams, budgets, and vendor relationships to deliver technology solutions.
- Develops and manages annual IT budgets, capital expenditures, and resource plans.
- Provides strong leadership to the IT department, including managing, mentoring, and developing IT managers and staff.
- Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability across all IT groups.
- Oversees the IT project portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with business requirements.
- Leads organizational change efforts related to new technology implementations, ensuring smooth adoption and user engagement.
- Follows all company environmental, health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines and conducts work in a safe manner.

Job Specifications (Skills, knowledge, special training, certification, license requirements):
- Proven experience in IT leadership roles with a strong background in systems architecture, compliance frameworks, and enterprise applications.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Effectively communicate technical matters to non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to think strategically and balance long-term vision with hands-on operational execution.
- Experience leading digital transformation initiatives and managing complex IT projects.
- MS365 Services, including Office 365, Exchange and SharePoint Services.
- Manufacturing application support experience.
Education and Work Experience Required:
- B.S. in Information Technology preferred, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership and management experience, with at least 3 years in an executive IT role
The base salary range for this position is $155,000- $190,000/year. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
We offer a competitive benefits package that starts on day one, including medical, employer-paid dental & vision, 401(k) match up to 5%, and generous PTO and holiday benefits. The typical work schedule consists of half-day Fridays.
