Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst 2
Duration: 12 Months

Pay Range: $25 - $28 per hour

Description of responsibilities:
Education and Years of Experience:
1) Education Requirement: Bachelor's or greater
2) 5- 15 years related professional experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations
Top 4 Must Have Skills:
1) Very detail oriented
2) Must follow up on multiple tasks
3) Highly organized and follows instructions closely
4) Intermediate to Advance Excel skills.
Extension every 6 months is possible as long as candidate is performing up to expectations. It is expected that this role will go on for many years, so candidates should not apply if they are looking for a few months or for example, only 2~3 of years work.
Please submit candidates w/ the following must-haves:
- Forecasting & demand planning, root-cause analysis experience in Supply Chain - Manager is flexible w/ years of experience (3+ years)
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (Macros is a big plus)
-Very detail oriented, strong follow up and organizing abilities.
- Superb communication(not afraid to speak in front of others) & collaborative skills, hard-working, flexible to work OT as needed (may be on weekends)
Nice to haves:
-Excel Macro(VBA) experience
Please note that this position is not a purely temporary contract. Managers intention is to bring on a candidate who is able to stay long term. He will extend the worker beyond initial assignment duration if candidate performs as expected.
This position will focus on all operational activities that occur with several key National Retail Accounts.
Responsibilities include:
Demand Forecasting, Reporting, Customer Process identification and improvement, Root Cause analysis, Sales trend analysis.
Activities have a direct impact on both sales' revenue and profitability within the assigned account base. This position will also maintain strong relationships with customers as well as with Client Sales, Supply Chain/Logistics, Marketing and so on.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Demand Forecasting
Various daily/weekly/monthly reporting
Order management - Help to ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner to meet the customers requested delivery date
Process Improvement, Sell Through Analysis (Customer), Sales Forecast to Actual Sales Analysis
Use of supply chain system for order management, reporting and forecasting
KPI (Baseline Improvement)
Conduct Root Cause analysis
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
5- 15 years related professional experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations
Forecasting or Demand Planning with working with retailer experience preferred.
Must be very detailed and must follow up on large number of tasks.
Experience in working directly with customers and maintaining positive relationships with them
Proficiency with Advanced Excel data management functions using advanced formulas.
SAP and BI(Business Intelligence) experience a plus, able to use internal systems.
Self-starter with strong focus on exceeding customer satisfaction goals
Must be comfortable working in a fast paced multi-cultural environment

Summary:
The main function of a supply chain analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. A typical supply chain analyst is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.
Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials.
Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
2-4 years related experience required.
