Title: Automations & AI Engineer W2 Contract (Hybrid)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid 2 to 3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 12+ Months
Employment Type: W2 Only No C2C

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Automations & AI Engineer for a long-term W2 contract role based in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cybersecurity, AWS (Glue, Lambda, Security Lake), and hands-on experience in Python, Snowflake SQL, LLMs, LangChain/LangGraph, and API engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AI-driven automation solutions using LangChain/LangGraph and LLMs for cybersecurity and data processing use cases.

  • Develop and deploy Python applications and data pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and Security Lake.

  • Leverage Snowflake SQL for querying and transforming large-scale datasets.

  • Build, test, and maintain APIs to integrate ML models with enterprise systems.

  • Apply prompt engineering and LLM optimization techniques to enhance AI interactions.

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, data, and infrastructure teams to align automation efforts with security goals.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of total experience in software engineering, data, or cybersecurity.

  • Strong experience with AWS services: Glue, Lambda, Security Lake.

  • Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL (Snowflake preferred).

  • Practical experience in Cybersecurity or SecOps environments.

  • Hands-on with LangChain, LangGraph, and LLM-based solutions.

  • Experience in API development and integration.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with MLOps and model deployment strategies.

  • Experience integrating AI tools into SIEM, SOAR, or EDR platforms.

  • AWS or AI/ML-related certifications.
