Description
We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team in Largo, Florida. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing system operations, ensuring seamless functionality for both end users and the organization. This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Microsoft client and server operating systems, including Active Directory and Office 365.
Provide technical support to staff and clients, addressing system issues and offering training as needed.
Administer backup technologies to ensure data security and recovery capabilities.
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco technologies to ensure reliable network connectivity.
Maintain computer hardware and software systems, monitoring performance and addressing any irregularities.
Implement and oversee Remote Desktop Services to support remote work capabilities.
Ensure all systems are compliant with organizational policies and standards.
Collaborate with team members to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance.
Conduct regular assessments of system security and recommend updates as necessary.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a technical environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems, including server and client platforms, Active Directory, and Office 365.
Experience in supporting and training staff or clients on system usage.
Familiarity with Cisco technologies and backup solutions.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware and system administration.
Possession of a valid Florida Class "E" driver's license and insurability under organizational policies.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
