Job Summary:
The client is looking for an RF Hardware Engineer to design, develop, and optimize up/down conversion systems for Client projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF and microwave engineering, as well as experience in system design and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. System Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design up/down conversion systems based on project requirements.
  2. Demonstrate proficiency in High Frequency (HF) design principles and methodologies, with a focus on frequencies beyond 6GHz
  3. Component Selection: Select appropriate components, such as mixers, amplifiers, filters, and synthesizers, to achieve desired system performance.
  4. System Integration: Integrate up/down conversion systems into larger communication systems, ensuring seamless functionality.
  5. Testing and Validation: Develop test plans and conduct thorough testing to validate system performance and troubleshoot any issues.
  6. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including schematics, specifications, and test reports.
  7. Optimization: Continuously optimize and improve system performance through iterative design and testing.
  8. Compliance: Ensure that up/down conversion systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  9. Collaboration: Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure the seamless integration of up/down conversion systems into larger systems.
  10. Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in RF and microwave technology to drive innovation in our products.
  11. Technical Support: Provide technical support to other teams during system integration and troubleshooting.
  12. Experience in board-level mm-wave design.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing up/down conversion systems for RF and microwave applications.
  • Proven Experience in PCBA
  • Proficiency in RF simulation and design tools (e.g., ADS, Microwave Office).
  • Strong knowledge of RF components and their characteristics.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to RF systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python) for automation and data analysis is a plus.
