NOTE: Looking for candidates who can work 2 day / week from Princeton, NJ
Change Coordinator
  • 7+ years of experience in ITSM/ ITIL Change Management
  • Maintain and enhance procedures for handling planned and emergency Changes affecting the services environment(s) including review, approval, communication and proper documentation
  • Collaborate with BCBSA and stakeholders in defining freeze periods for Changes
  • Ensure to follow the change classifications (impact, priority, severity, risk) and change authorization process.
  • Ensure all the plans including but not limited to deployment plan, communication plan, back-out plan and relevant approvals are in place.
  • Ensure all the relevant risks are reviewed, impact analyzed and back out plans validated of those Changes and establish release management plans for major changes, working closely with release managers.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders in developing and maintaining a forward schedule of planned Changes Support the Change Manager to develop the CAB agenda items based on a forward schedule of planned Changes; perform impact analysis on Changes and provide with options for review
  • Collaborate with Release management team to ensure Change and release management processes are applied across all environments (e.g., development, test and production)
  • Collaborate with Configuration and Asset Managers to update systems and documentation impacted by implemented Changes (e.g., CMDB, asset management system, Definitive Software Library (DSL), Service Catalog, Disaster Recovery plan)
  • Verify that Change met objectives and resolve negative impacts from the Change
  • Monitor Changes and report results of Changes and impacts and provide single portal access to reports and Change Request logs
  • Manage Change communication with BCBSA and third parties, including a web-based Change approval application
  • Secure and maintain master copies of all in-scope software versions in a secured software library and update CMDB
  • Implement and document out-of-CAB-cycle Changes related to the Service Area components (e.g., emergency Changes)
