Job Details

  • 5+ year of experience open to someone coming from UX Design, UX Research, or Product Management also open to more of the business side/merchant background.
  • Strong UX knowledge and perspective. Ability to assess website s user experience.
  • Design of balance / analytical side / comfortable to learn analytics tool / more importantly very comfortable in PowerPoint
  • Deep ecommerce knowledge required.
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce UX best practices to drive customer acquisition, retention, and conversion across devices
  • Candidates should understand what's a needle mover in ecommerce vs a violation of usability principal (i.e. ecommerce drivers, rather than just UX drivers)
  • Ability to be strategic and tactical (see forest vs. the trees)
  • Get in the weeds but be able to synthesize. Instead of delivering a ton of slides, know which the top issues/opportunities are to narrow down more of a systems thinker
  • Strategic thinking around implementation able to differentiate quick wins from those requiring deeper functional development
  • Ability to create a compelling PowerPoint/Figma presentations and influence stakeholder though live presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey findings to stakeholders across design, product, and executive teams
  • Strong background in site and customer experience research, including heuristic evaluations, customer journey mapping, and behavioral analysis
  • Data-driven: proficient in leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data to uncover key behavioral insights and inform recommendations experience with tools such as Adobe Analytics, Quantum Metric or similar platforms
  • Candidates with proven experience leveraging qualitative/quantitative data from data analytics & session replay for Quantum Metrics or Adobe Analytics are highly preferred
  • Expert in analyzing merchandising strategies, product taxonomy, photography, and copy
  • Awareness of evolving digital experience trends, including AI-assisted design, personalization, and next-gen interface patterns
  • Strategic thinking and storytelling skills to synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations
  • While not required to be a hands-on visual designer, experience leveraging design tools is a plus and should have a sharp eye for evaluating interface usability and able to create mockups that bring UX recommendations to life
  • Someone who was in ecommerce for a while and done with design but has a really strong UX sensibility of what is usable, what are the conversion drivers for ecommerce. What these audits are about we will go in and look at outdoor furniture. And compare outdoor to all our competitors. Look at the data. How we are merchandizing the product. Looking at the imagery.
