Job Details

Job Title: SAP Plant Maintenance & EAM Consultants (2 Openings)
Location: Remote (occasional travel to Houston, TX)
Type: Contract (C2C/1099) / Full-time (W2)

Duration: 6 months with very likely extensions

Job Summary:
We are looking for two experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultants with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) expertise to support our client's asset management initiatives. Both roles are remote with limited travel to Houston, TX. Oil & Gas experience is highly preferred.

Open Roles:

1. SAP PM Consultant Asset Data & Transactions

  • Manage Functional Locations (FLOC) and Equipment master data, including creation, updates, and mass updates.

  • Utilize Winshuttle (or similar tools) for efficient bulk data management.

  • Support preventive maintenance processes including work orders, notifications, maintenance plans, and scheduling.

  • Provide expertise in core PM objects: work centers, task lists, and BOMs.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders on data validation, governance, and compliance.

2. SAP PM Consultant Asset Structure & P&ID Analysis

  • Review and interpret P&ID diagrams and engineering drawings to identify and validate assets.

  • Compare engineering documentation with SAP PM asset data, identifying gaps and inconsistencies.

  • Recommend the correct structure for Functional Locations (FLOC) and Equipment hierarchy.

  • Support workshops with engineering and maintenance teams to align asset structures with business standards.

  • Provide best practices for SAP EAM asset modeling and governance.

Requirements (for both roles):

  • 5+ years of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) experience.

  • Strong expertise in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).

  • Role-specific expertise in either:

    • Asset Data Management & Transactions (Winshuttle, FLOC/Equipment, Preventive Maintenance), or

    • Asset Structure & P&ID Analysis (engineering drawings, gap analysis, hierarchy recommendations).

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

  • Oil & Gas industry experience strongly preferred.

  • Ability to work remotely with occasional travel to Houston, TX.
