Job Title : Origami Claims Technical Lead

Responsibilities:

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Origami Claims Technical Lead to drive the configuration, integration, and optimization of the Origami Claims module. This role will ensure seamless claims processing, financial accuracy, and reporting by working closely with both business and technical teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering end-to-end claims implementations and supporting insurance transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of the full claims lifecycle, including FNOL, adjudication, reserving, and payments.
  • Configure workflow rules, financial calculations, and document templates to align with business needs.
  • Integrate Origami Claims with external portals, payment engines, and analytics platforms.
  • Manage defect triage, oversee patch releases, and provide cutover support.
  • Advise stakeholders on best practices for fraud detection, subrogation, and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience implementing claims systems within the insurance domain.
  • Strong functional knowledge of claims processing and financials.
  • Proven expertise in Origami Claims configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with XML scripting (rules) and JavaScript (UI customizations).
  • Solid background in REST/SOAP API integrations.

Requirements

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with reinsurance claim workflows.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting and audit compliance.
  • Exposure to other claims platforms (Guidewire ClaimCenter, Duck Creek Claims, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
