Role: Kubernetes Cloud Test Engineer
Location: Dallas strongly preferred or remote in EST or CST time zones
Visa: USC-EAD/-EAD

Job Description:
We are seeking a Kubernetes Cloud Test Engineer responsible for designing and executing benchmark tests for cloud infrastructure components such as CPU, memory, storage, and network throughput/latency. This role will also design and deliver Kubernetes-based cloud test solutions focused on application scalability and impairment scenarios.
Key responsibilities include:
Analyzing benchmark and resiliency test results to identify issues, optimizations, and provide detailed metrics for application vendors and customers.
Integrating Kubernetes metrics collection into Spirent's CloudSure tool and automating application provisioning using Kubernetes installers and Helm Charts.
Collaborating closely with customer teams, application vendors, Product Management, Solution Engineering, and Project Management groups to derive meaningful test cases for scalability and impairment.
Delivering periodic updates and reporting relevant metrics as requested.
Must Have:
Kubernetes Cloud Testing experience
Experience with Kubernetes networking and monitoring
Linux/Ubuntu expertise, with Python and Bash scripting skills
Strong networking knowledge (ARP, TCP/IP, switching)
Hands-on experience using Spirent CloudSure testing tool
