Job Details

JD/Requirements:

Capabilities (not all inclusive):

  • AWS Data LakeHouse:
  • Architect and develop Data LakeHouse solution, ensuring scalability, security, and performance leveraging AWS and Databricks tech stack
  • IIOT Component Setup:
  • Design and Implement and configure IIOT solutions, including HiveMQ for message brokering.
  • Set up and manage Hive Metastore for effective metadata management.
  • Develop solutions for optimal data storage at the edge that streams preferred data to IIOT Lake as well as support Edge Inferencing
  • Data Integration:
  • Design and implement data integration strategies between on-premises edge devices and AWS Data Lake
  • Ensure seamless data transmission and accessibility across platforms
  • Experience with manufacturing IIOT solutions Ignition, Sparkplug etc is a bonus

  • Edge ML:
  • Design and implement edge analytics solutions that can support operational insights, edge model execution and live inferencing
  • Enable complete ML Ops on the edge leveraging/extending existing frameworks
  • Security:
  • Develop all solutions with 100% compliance to CloudSecOps and Cyber Security policies ensuring security & integrity of data throughout the end to end data pipelines,
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Support to team members on IIOT and AWS Data Lake best practices.

Required Skills and experience for proposed resources:

  • Proven experience in IIOT technologies and AWS Data Lake architecture.
  • Strong AWS Platform & IaC skills using Terraform.
  • Strong implementations skills of Ignition, HiveMQ and Hive Metastore.
  • Proficiency in data integration tools and techniques.
  • Experience with AWS & Databricks Services.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in IIOT & AWS.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and IoT applications in manufacturing.

  • Plant Location: Kentucky Toyota Manufacturing Plant - 1001 Cherry Blossom Way, Georgetown, KY 40324 (please submit local candidates or a candidate that would be willing to move during BGC)
