Description
We are looking for a Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in Matawan, New Jersey. In this role, you will provide essential support by addressing technical issues, managing user accounts, and ensuring smooth operations for our systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Investigate and resolve technical problems related to hardware and software applications.
Maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and updates within the help desk tracking system.
Communicate effectively with users throughout the troubleshooting process to ensure timely resolution.
Manage and administer user accounts across multiple systems.
Complete work orders with comprehensive notes for each troubleshooting step.
Perform tasks with professionalism and integrity to enhance customer satisfaction and company reputation.
Provide assistance during office relocations and corporate moves.
Contribute to special projects as assigned.
Collaborate with external vendors to address technical concerns.
Be available to work overtime when necessary.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent education.
Up to two years of relevant experience or training in a similar role.
Ability to work effectively in environments such as computer data centers and warehouses.
Strong problem-solving skills to address diverse technical issues.
Proficiency in interpreting written, oral, and diagram instructions.
Competence in reading and understanding safety guidelines, operating manuals, and procedural documents.
Skilled in writing clear reports and correspondence.
Familiarity with tools and systems such as Active Directory, Microsoft Windows 10, and service desk ticketing platforms.
