Role: Project Manager with Scrum 
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months and Contract
 

Key Responsibilities

Project Management (Primary) 

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of digital healthcare projects including touchless check-in, scheduling systems, and patient engagement platforms
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
  • Manage project scope, requirements, and change control processes
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, designers, clinical staff, and IT operations
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH) and security standards
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and executive leadership

Scrum Master Duties (Secondary) 

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews)
  • Remove impediments and blockers for development teams
  • Coach teams on Agile principles and best practices
  • Maintain and optimize sprint backlogs and burndown charts
  • Foster continuous improvement and team collaboration
  • Ensure adherence to Scrum framework and organizational standards

 

Required Qualifications

Education & Certifications

 

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) 
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification preferred
  • Agile certifications (SAFe, PMI-ACP) are a plus

Experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience in digital/technology projects
  • 3+ years as a Scrum Master leading Agile teams
  • Experience in healthcare technology or digital transformation projects
  • Proven track record managing patient-facing digital solutions
  • Experience with scheduling systems, check-in platforms, or healthcare IT systems
  • Background in software development lifecycle (SDLC) management

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Smartsheet)
  • Knowledge of healthcare IT systems (EHR/EMR, scheduling platforms)
  • Familiarity with API integrations and system interfaces
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with digital health technologies and IoT devices

  • Background in healthcare operations or clinical settings
