Job Details
Our client who is a startup in the entertainment space is looking for a backend Node.js / Cloud Engineer to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing startup as they continue expanding the reach across North America. This will be a 1099 contract with ability to convert to FTE at as early as 6 months.
This company provides accessibility for Spanish speakers across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, to allow them to enjoy a movie theater experience. They are partnered with thousands of movie theaters currently and continue expand on that selection.

Required Skills & Experience
- Working experience with Node.js and TypeScript for Microservice development.
- Experience with AWS and it's suite of tools (Lambdas, EC2, Fargot, ECS)
- AWS networking experience (VPC, API Gate Way, Load Balancers, etc.)
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (CloudWatch preferred)
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience within the media/entertainment industry
- Experience within startup environments
