Job Details
Position Overview:
The Procurement Manager will lead sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with U.S. defense procurement regulations. This role plays a critical part in supporting the transition from development to full-scale production while maintaining cost, quality, and schedule targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end procurement activities, from requisition to supplier delivery
- Collaborate with internal engineering, finance, and quality teams
- Monitor and improve supplier performance
- Ensure compliance with ITAR and FAR/DFARS regulations
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and support audits
- Drive continuous improvement and implement sourcing best practices
- Lead procurement strategies for production scalability and cost-efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 5 8 years of procurement experience, preferably in defense or aerospace
- Strong knowledge of U.S. government procurement regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPSM, CPIM, or equivalent certification
- Experience with international sourcing and export controls
- Proven track record in supplier development and cost-saving initiatives
Additional Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required (ITAR-regulated work)
- No active clearance needed
