.NET Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a part time .NET Architect. Hours will vary between about 5-10 hours per week, depending on availability and need.

Responsibilities:
* Work within agile development methodologies
* Document changes using established software development life cycle and project standards
* Mentor team members
* Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement SAFE code
* Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of software, with a focus on the core .NET application
* Provide design and architecture recommendations aligned with best practices, scalability needs, and the strategic roadmap
* Drive the evolution of the existing system and lay the groundwork for innovative new features
* Provide insights into modern architectural patterns, especially within a .NET Core microservices environment
* Actively participate in maintaining code quality and integrity through code reviews, offering constructive feedback, and championing coding standards
* Identify areas for code optimization and improvement to enhance application performance and maintainability
* Design and improve the database infrastructure, making recommendations on database design and improvements for both MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments
* Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders within an iterative framework
* Create clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and guidelines
* Guide the integration of various AWS services, optimize cloud resource utilization, and ensure cloud infrastructure supports high availability and scalability requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proficiency in .NET Core, Angular, and SQL
* Experience with Microservices Architecture
* Strong AWS Cloud Services knowledge
* Experience with Child Welfare IT systems and/or the Federal Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) development standards and regulations
* Proficiency in .NET Core, Angular, and SQL

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
