Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products and services. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating clear, concise, and user-friendly content for a variety of audiences including developers, end users, and internal stakeholders.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Research, write, create , and edit, Standards documentation, technical specifications, SOPs, Process Flows,
  • Work closely with Site Ops Managers , engineers and SMEs to gather technical information and requirements
  • Support the development of structures and frameworks for standards releases, Standards changes , and new feature rollouts, ensure full and comprehensive lifecycle of the documentation.
  • Create diagrams, flowcharts, and other visuals to support documentation, including points for reporting, tooling and automation
  • Ensure content is consistent with Meta, IDC and Infra documentation standards and meets industry best practice also
  • Manage documentation lifecycle including requirement capture, drafting, peer review, publishing, and version control.
  • Collaborate with the Site Ops KM team in Maintaining standards repositories and help systems using all Meta Standard ( G Suite, GSD, Jira etc ) tooling.
  • Participate in user testing and incorporate feedback into documentation improvements.
  • Ensure documentation is accessible, searchable, and user-friendly.

What you will need to Succeed:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a technology or software environment.
  • Bachelors degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to simplify complex information.
  • Experience with authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, or Markdown editors.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence, ReadTheDocs), and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Experience with API documentation using tools like Swagger or Postman.
  • Knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS, and Markdown.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Understanding of accessibility and usability best practices in documentation.
  • User Experience, human-centered and/or heuristics experience in writing end user documentation.

  • May involve occasional meetings across multiple time zones
  • Opportunities for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
  • Ad-hoc travel required as needed in support of sow
