Summary: We are seeking an experienced Database Management Systems (DBMS) Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, modeling, developing, and supporting DBMS to meet system requirements. The ideal candidate will evaluate data credibility, develop warehousing designs, and create a flexible yet secure data architecture to support business information needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, amend, and certify database schema to meet system requirements.
  • Analyze data requirements, application architectures, and processing architectures.
  • Gather, analyze, and normalize information from business processes to evaluate data relevance and meaning.
  • Develop database and warehousing designs across multiple platforms and computing environments.
  • Create a secure data architecture that supports business information needs.
  • Participate in projects as a team member or project leader and coach junior technical staff.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of IT work experience in DBA, DBMS design, and support in relevant computing environments.
  • Proven ability to work on DBMS of low to medium complexity.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and implement effective database structures.
  • Experience in project management and ability to lead project teams.
