Job Details

IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

 

Our client is looking for a Help Desk candidate to provide support to end users on a variety of IT issues including but not limited to providing password and network access assistance.

Tasks
  • Identifying, researching, and resolving IT technical issues that are reported by State of Wisconsin employees, citizens, customers, and monitoring systems.
  • Responds to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support.
  • Provides support to both state agency employees and citizens in the access and use of State of Wisconsin applications.
  • Documents, tracks, and monitors problems experienced with those applications to ensure a timely resolution and ability to spot trends.
  • Utilizes commonly used IT support concepts, practices, and procedures with a Level 1 IT support capacity.

 

NOTE: Local candidates or candidates willing to relocate at the candidate's expense. All of work will be done onsite in the office on Femrite Drive in Madison WI.

 

This is permanently a 2nd shift position working in the Madison Femrite office

 

Work Shift: Monday-Friday 4PM to 12:30am with 30 min unpaid lunch.

 

This is a 24x7x365 support center which is open all Holidays and to ensure adequate coverage an occasional shift in work hours and overtime may be necessary.

Skills Required:
  • 6+ months - IT Help Desk experience
  • 6+ months - Customer Service experience
  • 6+ months - Basic IT Troubleshooting experience
  • 6+ months - Call center experience
Skills Desired A plus to have:
  • Previous IT Support desk call center experience
