Role: Protection & Controls Substation Engineer III (Mid-Level)
Location: Fully Remote (Work from Home)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: Up to $115K + Bonus Potential

Summary of Key Responsibilities
  • Create/modify design documents and drawings including substation one-lines, three-lines, control schematics, wiring diagrams, relay panel arrangements, and specifications
  • Design auxiliary AC and DC power systems
  • Develop SCADA system and communications interfaces
  • Perform engineering calculations (relay burden, voltage drop, short circuit, battery sizing, AC/DC load tabulations)

Education & Experience:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university
  • Required: Minimum 3 years experience in relay protection and control design of high voltage (12-500 kV) substations
  • Required: Engineer in Training (EIT) designation
  • BlueBeam is Required
