Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Create/modify design documents and drawings including substation one-lines, three-lines, control schematics, wiring diagrams, relay panel arrangements, and specifications
- Design auxiliary AC and DC power systems
- Develop SCADA system and communications interfaces
- Perform engineering calculations (relay burden, voltage drop, short circuit, battery sizing, AC/DC load tabulations)
Education & Experience:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university
- Required: Minimum 3 years experience in relay protection and control design of high voltage (12-500 kV) substations
- Required: Engineer in Training (EIT) designation
