Job Description: Data Analyst II
IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
1. Preference for someone within driving distance of Woodland Hills, CA or 10200 Abilities Way, Kansas City for
occasional in person meetings; virtual candidates will also be considered.
2. Resource will be paid as a W-2 employee by the staffing supplier.
3. Staffing suppliers - please do not contact the hiring manager directly. Only suppliers in scope of the ***
CWM program can submit candidates for this position.
3 years of experience that involves querying and manipulating data to address business problems.
Extract and manipulate data to solve business problems.
Respond to new requests for reports/data. Understand customer objectives and processes, review and refine requirements, and communicate estimated hours and timeline to complete.
Extract data directly from relational databases (SQL, Snowflake)
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards
Format data for business use in Excel, Access, or similar format.
Create and maintain scripts and macros used to automate reports.
Identify and communicate data quality issues or data differences.
Describe and document unique aspects or limitations of data to aid understanding.
Demonstrate business understanding: Develop in-depth knowledge of data associated with at least one line of
business (LOB), and effectively support the data needs of that LOB.
Generate insights and recommendations from reports
Medicare experience a plus
Comfortable working with new and unstructured data sets
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Interview process:
2 interview rounds of 30-45 minutes each, with one interview involving a skill set demonstration (SQL and Power BI).
