Job Description
The selected candidate will join the MFC Classified Cybersecurity Team as a COMSEC Custodian/Manager and Information System Security Officer supporting Special Access Programs (SAP) located in Orlando, FL to ensure classified information systems (IS) meet cybersecurity requirements and government directives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, detailed knowledge in cryptographic techniques, including crypto key receipt and distribution; operations of managing a COMSEC Account; install crypto keys and troubleshoot COMSEC equipment; provide COMSEC support/oversight to establish secure voice and data links as required; and ensure COMSEC compliance in support of successful government reviews.
The candidate will support the development/administration of a robust COMSEC Training Program for the COMSEC user community on the handling of keying material, job aids and equipment; manage a COMSEC Material Control System and inventory process; safeguard/account for classified and unclassified COMSEC Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCIs); disseminate, inventory, and destroy COMSEC keying material; maintain COMSEC records; perform courier duties for COMSEC material and equipment, perform all COMSEC related investigations and comply with security procedures. Candidate may be required to provide support to other off-site locations.
In addition, the candidate will perform a classified cybersecurity role and must have a working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and JSIG requirements that apply to Information System (IS) security. The candidate should have knowledge of other security disciplines and how they impact and interact with information system security. Must be able to coordinate with other security disciplines to ensure all classified computing assets are properly accredited. The candidate must be able to effectively interface with numerous cognizant security agencies and customers, taking direction from more senior analysts and management. Promotes daily contact with program management, engineering staff, the Orlando classified cybersecurity manager, and other security and program personnel to resolve technical security related issues. Candidate must have knowledge of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), computer operations and experience with the technical configuration settings for various operating systems. Should be able to communicate effectively, speak in front of large groups of people, have excellent organizational skills and be able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of government/contractor network inter-connectivity desired.
Candidate will assist the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) with information systems and Risk management Framework security compliance as required.
Assist in data integrity containments and investigations on IA related security violations/incidents.
Candidate will interface with internal/external customers to identify requirements and provide problem resolution.

Basic Qualifications
Experience working as a COMSEC Manager. Experience working with classified information systems. Ability to author security plans, maintain accreditations, ability to perform technical certifications for accredited systems.
Must possess and maintain 8570 requirements such as CISSP, Network+, or Security+ certifications or must be able to obtain within 180 days of start date.
This position requires applicants to have a final Secret security clearance with a background investigation performed within the last six years.
Candidates must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance upon employment. This position also requires an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin meet its business needs.
Desired skills
Experience working as a COMSEC manager. Experience with DAAPM, and JSIG authorization processes. Classified cyber security experience as an Information System Security Officer/Manager (ISSO/ISSM).

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
