Title: Data Analyst

Duration: 3+ years with a highly possible extension

Location: Baton Rouge, LA (Remote).

The scope of the proposed services will include, but are not limited to the following:

*) Design and manage data systems, coordinate various data sources, collect descriptive facts for existing data, and document data systems provided by the State or created as part of this project.

*) Interpret system development life cycles, project management approaches and requirements, design, and testing techniques.

*) Data modeling and design, including software development and database administration.

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:

*) Bachelor's degree

*) Exceptional written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, and familiarity with a range of computer software (including but not limited to Microsoft Office).

*) Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:

*) Experience with education and/or governmental institutions.

*) Application of specialized skills within a government agency environment.

*) Experience in data technologies like Qualtrics.

*) Strong Excel skills required, including data modeling and ad hoc analysis.

*) Skilled in project design and management.

*) Experience and interest in data storytelling, especially for external audiences.
