Salesforce Data Cloud Architect

Location: Atlanta, GA, USA Experience Required: 12+ years (including 3+ years hands-on in Salesforce Data Cloud)


Role Overview

UST is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Data Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud (Customer 360), enterprise data platforms, and advanced AI/ML integrations. This role will lead the design, implementation, and governance of large-scale data architectures, unified customer platforms, and Agentforce solutions leveraging Data Cloud capabilities.


Overall Experience Requirements

  • 8 10+ years in Salesforce and enterprise data platforms.

  • 3+ years hands-on experience in Salesforce Data Cloud (Customer 360).

  • Deep understanding of:

    • Data Cloud architecture, objects, Data Lake Objects (DLOs), harmonization, calculated insights, identity resolution.

    • Data Cloud Query Language (DQL) and advanced segmentation.

  • Strong knowledge of data architecture, governance, MDM, data warehousing, data lakes.

  • Hands-on experience building large-scale CDP and unified data platforms.

  • Experience with cloud-native ecosystems (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, Databricks).

  • Expertise in API-based integrations, ETL/ELT pipelines, event-driven architectures.

  • Proven experience architecting Agentforce solutions with AI/ML integrations, Einstein Studio, and RAG-based retrievers.

  • Experience with Model Builder and integrating external LLMs with Agentforce.

  • Strong grounding in real-time personalization, predictive insights, and recommendation engines.

  • Experience working with US clients and coordinating daily onsite offshore workflows.

  • Healthcare domain experience is a strong plus.


Technical Expertise

  • Proven track record designing & implementing data architectures within Salesforce.

  • Deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud (Customer 360) and related tools:

    • MuleSoft, Marketing Cloud, Tableau, Einstein Analytics.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns, data modeling, and API frameworks.

  • Experience with Salesforce data tools:
    Salesforce Data Loader, Einstein Analytics, other data management platforms.


Data Management Skills

  • Expertise in data governance, data security, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

  • Strong experience with data integration, ETL/ELT processes, middleware (MuleSoft).


Salesforce Skillset & Knowledge

  • Strong experience architecting and implementing Salesforce solutions with hands-on guidance for Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning development teams.

  • Must-have Data Cloud Skills:

    • Data Cloud Strategy & Architecture: Defining end-to-end Data Cloud architecture aligned with business goals.

    • Data Integration: Designing integrations between Salesforce Data Cloud and enterprise systems, ensuring scalability and data consistency.

    • Data Governance: Establishing rules for accuracy, security, and compliance.

    • Data Modeling: Designing scalable, maintainable data models for analytics and reporting.

    • Customer 360 Solutions: Leading implementations focused on a unified customer view and personalization.

    • Advanced Analytics & AI: Integrating predictive models, AI-driven analytics, and insights using Data Cloud and Einstein.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Enterprise Architecture teams on Salesforce data modeling.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to propose multiple solution approaches.


Preferred Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant (Must-have)

  • Salesforce Application Architect or Salesforce System Architect (At least one required)
