Job Description Java Support Engineer-

80% Production Support

15% root cause analysis: Why a certain bug? Fullstack and Oracle Procedures, Oracle DB

The position is going to be remote working for 40 hours a week. It is a supportrole and so the candidate needs to be flexible on the times of work during theday. 24X7 support is not expected from candidates.

Job Duties:

• Understand the businessfunctionality of the customer and also the functionality of the application being supported and conduct Level-2 support as needed
• Attend to support cases or tickets,respond to customer/s and take corrective action which may include educating customers on functionality and process flow
• Conduct root cause analysis in thesystem as well as from inputs from other stakeholders including other development/ support teams
• Change data in prod/non-prod tocorrect any errors so that processes function as expected
• Identify repetitive issues andrecommend corrective actions wherever relevant
• Act as an ambassador from Accionwith the Customer to create value for both parties along with safeguardinginterests

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of production support functional and technical expertise including: receivingtickets / support cases, providing first response, understand the issue on handas well as communicate with all stakeholders
• Minimum 4 years of experiencewith root cause analysis by traversing through systems after understanding thefunctionality
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Java full stack development and production support. strong knowledge of Java programming language and frameworks.
• A minimum of 4 years ofexperience with Oracle Database creating, rectifying and testing data,procedures and triggers
• Medium to advanced expertisewith Oracle DB development, preferably version 12C and above
• Minimum knowledge and expertisewith DBA (database administration) activities including, job optimization, scheduling and monitoring
• Minimum knowledge of application servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat,WebLogic), web servers (e.g., ApacheHTTP Server)
• Strong communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively withcross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize andmanage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
