Job Title: Electrical Project Estimator (Individual Contributor)

Job Summary

The Electrical Project Estimator supports project management teams by developing, monitoring, and updating project estimates and integrated project plans to ensure efficient project execution. This role applies established estimating methods, standards, processes, procedures, guidelines, and templates to manage and control project estimates effectively. Assignments are typically results-oriented, allowing discretion in selecting alternative approaches and adapting standard work processes as needed. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with electrical systems, including reading plans, calculating labor and material costs, and working on large construction projects (renewables such as solar or wind preferred).

  • Experience with electrical work including substations, overhead (OH), and underground (UG) cable systems.

  • Experience estimating total project costs, including engineering, design, project management, construction, and commissioning.

  • Familiarity to intermediate-level experience with on-screen takeoff tools or other estimating software.
