Brooksource is looking for a Network Engineer to join our leading Fortune 100 Telecommunications partner as a part of their Enterprise Networking Team. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting the company s wired and wireless enterprise network as well as various network appliances and servers as part of a team. Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot Juniper, Cisco, Ciena, and Nortel network devices
• Responding to tickets in an orderly and professional manner
• Collaborating with other network engineers to resolve tickets
• Optimize and configure the existing network through the planning and completion of low to medium complexity projects, systems and issues
• Occasionally participate in larger project initiatives
• Opportunity to move into different projects or migrations given performance

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years minimum of network troubleshooting in an enterprise or NOC environment
• 1-3 years minimum experience with Juniper and Cisco
• Nortel and Ciena are nice to have but can be taught on the job

Environment:

• Fortune 100 Telecommunications Company
• Medium-sized team of about 15-20 people
• Hybrid in South Charlotte, NC
• Mostly M-F 8-5, some maintenance windows requested (flexible with schedule around these)
