Job Description:

Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Informatica AWS Developer with Python to join their team on a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience working with Informatica, AWS cloud services, and Python scripting. This role offers an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to deepen their skills in cloud data integration, ETL pipelines, and modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of ETL pipelines using Informatica Cloud and AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, etc.).

  • Write and maintain Python scripts for data transformation, automation, and integration tasks.

  • Collaborate with senior developers and data engineers to ensure seamless data flow and integration across systems.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and resolve data quality issues.

  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and performance tuning activities.

  • Support ongoing data migration and cloud modernization projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1 2 years of hands-on experience with Informatica (Cloud or PowerCenter).

  • Experience with AWS services, such as S3, Lambda, Glue, or Redshift.

  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and data manipulation.

  • Understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data integration.

  • Familiarity with SQL and basic database operations.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) is a plus.
