Job Details
We are seeking Mainframe Integration Engineers / Cloud Scalability Engineers with strong Healthcare domain expertise to join our team on a high-impact engagement. The ideal candidates will bring deep technical skills in Mainframe (COBOL, DB2, CICS) along with hands-on experience integrating with MuleSoft and driving cloud scalability and performance engineering.
You will work closely with business and technical teams to modernize healthcare applications, focusing on clinical edits, pricing, and claims adjudication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and support Mainframe COBOL/DB2/CICS applications.
- Design and implement integration solutions with MuleSoft and other APIs.
- Lead cloud scalability and performance optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with product owners and healthcare SMEs to ensure solutions meet compliance, accuracy, and timeliness for claims adjudication and pricing workflows.
- Troubleshoot and optimize system performance for large-scale healthcare transaction processing.
- Ensure security, compliance, and regulatory requirements are met (HIPAA, PHI).
Required Skills
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Mainframe technologies (COBOL, DB2, CICS).
- Proven experience with MuleSoft integration (API design, messaging, and workflows).
- Strong expertise in cloud scalability, high availability, and performance engineering.
- Healthcare domain experience in:
- Clinical edits
- Pricing models
- Claims adjudication
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in enterprise healthcare systems.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience with modernization projects (mainframe-to-cloud migrations, hybrid integrations).
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodology.
