Preferred Qualifications:
    • 3-5 years of End User Computing systems engineering experience preferred.

Preferred Technical Skills:
    • 3-5 years as a Systems Engineer administrating Microsoft Intune to manage over 10,000 Windows based computers.
    • Experience with managing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
    • Understanding of endpoint management best practices - including software packaging & distribution, device provisioning (imaging), and patch management.
    • Experience with Intune, SCCM, Intune Configuration Profiles, GPO, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting.
    • Experience with O365 Suite Management.
    • Office, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams configuration.
    • Client with large and varied printer fleets a bonus preferred.
    • Experience with provisioning and device distribution for laptop, desktop, and monitors.
    • Experience working with 3rd party vendors including device evaluation.
    • Experience configuring and provisioning Windows PCs with Autopilot.
    • Experience with MacOS device enrollment, monitoring, and management of devices in Jamf or Intune.
    • Experience with engineering and deploying iOS and Android mobile solutions including Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) preferred.
    • Experience with PC/mobility architecture and operating system platforms (i.e. Windows 10/11, Macs, iOS, and Android).
    • Knowledge of back-end infrastructure including Exchange/EAS, Active Directory and Entra ID including conditional access (MCAS) to control/secure access, features, and functionality.
    • Moderate to advanced GPO/Configuration Profile and Windows PowerShell scripting knowledge.
    • Ability to troubleshoot advanced technical issues for O365 and related areas.
    • System migrations experience highly desired, specifically for endpoint management systems.
    • Knowledge of Zero Trust and to apply Zero Trust principles to a Microsoft Cloud Environment.
    • Experience responsibly using AI

Job Summary

Develops, maintains, and supports technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software components for small to mid-sized projects. Ensures the performance and reliability of all information technology services meet the needs of the business.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
  • Provides tier two and three engineering support across the enterprise, including providing support and resolution on customer issues.
  • Configures and maintains applicable systems and assists with performing daily tasks, such as database backups and configuration management database updates.
  • Helps determine needed production capacity to meet changing business demands and ensures capacity planning deliverables are performed to specifications.
  • Analyzes hardware and/or applications for compliance with security protocols.
  • Assists project leads with researching, designing, and testing new technologies.
  • Ensures service level agreements are met and align with functional standards.
  • Participates in incident management activities, including troubleshooting issues, performing after-action reviews and tasks, and assisting with disaster recovery support.
  • Assists with managing vendor work at remote locations.

Nature and Scope
  • Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
  • Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.
  • May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.

Work Environment
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience
  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
