You are:

A Computer Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing cutting-edge computer systems, software, and networks. Your work will involve creating innovative solutions to complex technical challenges, ensuring the seamless integration of hardware and software components. You will be responsible for analyzing system requirements, developing detailed specifications, and implementing robust designs that meet performance, security, and scalability standards. This role demands a deep understanding of computer architecture, programming languages, and network protocols, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop computer hardware and software systems.
  • Analyze and improve computer networks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with team members on projects.
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in technology.

Here's what you need:
  • Master's degree with at least 10 years of experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks OR Bachelor's degree with at least 14 years of experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks
  • Degree must be in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science
  • Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM) or Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) OR vendor/platform-specific certifications such as:
      • Microsoft role-based certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA))
      • Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP)
      • CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
      • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
      • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
      • Cloud certifications
  • 5 years of technical experience in support of Engineering, Systems Analysis, Medical Systems, Information Assurance, Web Development, or Engineering Management
  • Experience must include Systems/Equipment Support and Test and Evaluation support of C4ISR requirements
  • 3 years of technical experience in support of information assurance/network protection or virtualization projects
  • Experience may be achieved simultaneously

Bonus points if you have:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java
  • Familiarity with system modeling software and network configuration tools
  • Experience with operating systems, virtualization technologies, and cloud computing platforms
  • Exposure to agile development methodologies, version control systems, and debugging tools
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A proven track record of adapting to evolving technologies and driving innovation in computer engineering

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
