Job Title: Software Engineer (Contingent Resource)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Job Description:
As a Software Engineer in this contingent resource assignment, you will:
- Engage in initiatives of varying complexity and identify opportunities for process improvements within Software Engineering.
- Review and analyze software engineering tasks or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, focusing on low-to-medium risk deliverables.
- Present recommendations for resolving moderately complex situations, exercising independent judgment while developing an understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Provide information and support to client personnel in Software Engineering.
Additional Skills:
- 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 1+ year of experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot.
- 1+ year of experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience developing applications in a CI/CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins or GitHub.
- 1+ years of experience with Angular or React.
- Experience working within Scrum/Agile frameworks.
- 1+ years of experience with Junit, TDD, or BDD.
- Exposure to or understanding of Kubernetes.
- Understanding of Microservices and associated design patterns.
- Experience with Eclipse or IntelliJ IDE.
