JOB DESCRIPTION:
Title: Accountant I
Location: 20427 N 27th Ave Phoenix AZ USA 85027
Duration: 04 months Contract
Candidate is required to come on-site 4 days a week. Non-Negotiable.
Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze standard and customized reports for Pharmacy Claims, Open Cash, Adjustments and Bad Debt for reasonableness and accuracy
Assist and monitor Inmar with escalated collection efforts for problem carriers
Provide Accountants with assistance on account reconciliations
Monitor Business Rules with Inmar to ensure they are being completed/followed
Process Journal Entries to the General Ledger as directed
Run and review reporting from Inmar to ensure proper outreach is being done
Review reporting to identify opportunities for new business rules and trends to escalate to Managed Care and Inmar
Collaborate with Inmar as well as Albertsons Internal Customers (RX Operations and Accounting Management)
Complete outreach to carriers for missing payments and/or 835 s
Attend Inmar calls, take notes and ensure follow up items are completed
Assist with reversals for Medicare and Medicaid claims, as well as other carriers
Work to ensure all eligible carriers are sending 835 s and EFT payments
Assist team members with questions, daily tasks and projects.
Work Environment is collaborative as well as individual contributor.
Top Must Haves:
Accountancy experience for large company
Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookup, formulas
Successful Candidate will have the following:

Qualifications:
Four-year college degree in accounting or an additional 4+ years equivalent work experience
Two or more years of experience in a larger organization with mainframe-based accounting.
Strong knowledge of Pharmacy Reconciliation Process or Accounts Receivable
Working knowledge of Pharmacy
Working knowledge of General Ledger processing
Advanced level PC skills include Microsoft Excel, Word, Access
Oracle financial systems and Inmar experience a plus.
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Self-motivated as well as the ability to make logical, rational decisions independently
Ability to complete work with a minimum of supervision under rigid time constraints
Good oral, written and mathematical skills
Ability to participate in team building, problem solving sessions
Ability to learn new technologies and business requirements
Strong team building skills and ability to motivate team members
