Job requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead a key Finance Modernization Initiative aimed at transforming legacy systems and processes. This role requires someone with a strong background in application development or data migration, capable of driving complex, multi-team projects with technical depth and strategic oversight.

The Project Manager will be responsible for developing and managing detailed project plans, coordinating efforts across cross-functional teams, tracking progress, identifying risks, and delivering results that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and execution of modernization initiatives across multiple workstreams within the Finance department.

Develop and manage end-to-end project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation across development or migration tracks.

Facilitate regular project meetings, gather status updates, and ensure alignment among various teams and stakeholders.

Monitor project progress and communicate updates, challenges, and outcomes to leadership and business stakeholders.

Collaborate with product owners, developers, architects, and business analysts to ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.

Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies; develop mitigation plans to address them.

Maintain detailed project documentation including status reports, dashboards, risk logs, and release plans.

Support release management and change control processes.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

6+ years of experience as a Project Manager in finance or a related field.

Strong experience in application development and/or data migration projects.

Proficient in Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).

Proven ability to create and manage detailed project plans and timelines.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills and attention to technical detail.

Preferred Skills:

PMP certification (preferred).

Experience in finance or mortgage-related projects.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.

Experience leading modernization or digital transformation initiatives.

Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
