job summary:

The Data Governance and quality team is seeking a data analyst/developer to work in the Enterprise Data Governance team to gather, analyze and document datasets to help build artifacts for the Data User Community. Work under the guidance of a Data Governance lead to perform analysis to establish baseline blueprints for key asset data quality metrics, workflows, model, develop data quality tools to support alignment with Data Analytics through the Data Catalog as well as all other initiatives needing data.

responsibilities:

  • You will perform data profiling analysis from different sources and report data analysis findings to management to inform business decisions and prioritize information system needs.
  • You will work with business users to Identify critical data elements, data quality rules, thresholds, and other business requirements.
  • You will develop Data Quality dashboards and visualizations.
  • You will support presentations, documentation, feedback loops and maintaining data records.
  • You will support project deliverables for the DG tools
  • You will work with data governance partners and technology teams to implement/expand data governance tools.

Education & Experience:


Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

Experience with Data Analysis methods

Ability to understand data classifications like technical & non-technical data.


Ability to work across diverse groups and create quality connections with peers


Data Quality review experience a plus
