Project Manager Data Analytics
1. Lead Data Analytics Projects
- Oversee full lifecycle of data warehouse and analytics initiatives using PMI PMBOK and Agile methodologies.
- Ensure project alignment with client goals and business outcomes.
2. Strategic Project Execution
- Manage project planning, resource forecasting, risk mitigation, and successful delivery.
- Monitor and ensure quality and compliance with standards and contracts.
3. Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, end users, and cross-functional teams.
- Gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure high satisfaction.
4. Communication and Collaboration
- Facilitate meetings, provide status reports, and deliver executive updates.
- Promote transparency, accountability, and collaboration across teams.
5. Team Leadership
- Mentor, lead, and motivate direct and matrixed team members.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and drive continuous improvement.
6. Technical Expertise
- Utilize data warehousing, reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI), and business intelligence technologies.
- Preferably experienced with Teradata, Informatica, SAS, Business Objects, and Microsoft Project.
7. Industry and Compliance Knowledge
- Work preferably within healthcare, Medicaid programs, and federal reporting requirements (CMS 64, T-MSIS).
- Ensure adherence to change control and contract compliance.
8. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of project management experience in complex data analytics or BI projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.
9. Preferred Credentials
- Master's degree in Public Health, Administration, or Data Analytics.
- PMP or CBIP certification; experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience managing contracts over $5M and leading change/risk management efforts.
