Senior Test Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our team supporting. The ideal candidate will lead comprehensive test and verification efforts for a complex Drupal-based solution that involves migrating existing SharePoint data to cloud infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in both content management system testing and data migration validation, combined with strong leadership skills to guide testing strategy and execution. The position demands a thorough understanding of federal security requirements and cloud compliance standards. This is a remote position with occasional on-site requirements.

In this position, you can expect to:

• Should need to Lead end-to-end test strategy && execution for Drupal-based content management solutions
• Must be Design && implement comprehensive test plans for SharePoint to cloud data migration processes
• Should need to Develop automated testing frameworks for data integrity validation && system performance
• Lead test case development covering functional, integration, performance, && security testing
• Support coordination of user acceptance testing with federal stakeholders && end users
• Support the establishment of data validation protocols to ensure migration accuracy && completeness
• Perform comprehensive testing of security controls
• Lead defect triage && resolution processes with development teams
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation && reporting for federal compliance
• Collaborate with developers, system administrators, && security teams on test requirements
• Execute performance testing to validate system scalability and response times
• Conduct security testing aligned with federal standards && compliance requirements
• Lead regression testing efforts throughout iterative development cycles
• Coordinate with DevOps teams on continuous integration && automated testing pipelines
• Interface with project stakeholders on test progress, risks, && quality metrics

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of total professional experience with 6+ years in software testing && 4+ years leading test engineering efforts
• Strong expertise in && experience with:
• Content management system && data migration testing && validation methodologies
• Test case design && execution management && agile testing methodologies and practices
• Test automation frameworks && tools leveraging continuous integration && automated testing pipelines
• Performance && load testing strategies
• API testing and web services validation
• Database testing && data integrity verification
• Test documentation && reporting standards
• Federal compliance testing (FedRAMP, FISMA)
• User acceptance testing coordination
• Defect management && tracking systems
• Accessibility testing && compliance (Section 508)

Demonstrated ability to:

• Lead complex testing initiatives across multiple workstreams
• Develop comprehensive test strategies for enterprise applications
• Communicate testing progress && quality metrics to stakeholders
• Balance manual && automated testing approaches effectively
• Coordinate testing activities across distributed teams
• Identify && mitigate testing risks proactively
• Testing certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, 508 Trusted Tester) strongly preferred
• Past experience leveraging the Cypress framework in a test environment
• Experience using tools such as Apache JMeter for testing
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure) a bonus
