Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will leverage your analytical expertise to drive business outcomes and deliver actionable insights that support organizational objectives. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for professionals who are adept at interpreting complex data and fostering collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed analyses of business performance and identify opportunities for improvement through data-driven insights.
Develop Key Data Elements (KDEs) and create tracking mechanisms for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to align with organizational objectives.
Design and produce comprehensive reports that highlight factors contributing to financial and operational variances.
Prepare and distribute recurring reports for stakeholders, ensuring all documentation includes clear specifications and instructions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Operations, Legal, and Compliance, to drive business outcomes independently.
Utilize advanced tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Databricks to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities.
Conduct gap analyses to identify discrepancies between current processes and business goals.
Support Agile Scrum initiatives by contributing to business process improvements and requirement documentation.
Execute other tasks as assigned by management to support broader business objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in roles such as Analyst, Data Scientist, or Project Manager, with a focus on large-scale projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Databricks, and other data analysis tools.
Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira and CRM systems.
Strong expertise in conducting gap analyses and creating Business Requirement Documents.
Familiarity with AB testing methodologies and claim administration processes.
Knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and business process functions.
Exceptional analytical skills paired with effective communication abilities to work across teams.
